Winners of Innovative Future Essay Writing Contest 2018

The winners of Innovative Future Essay Writing Contest 2018 were announced at an Awards ceremony which was held at Abia State Polytechnic, Aba on October 27, 2018.

Students from the 16 different schools which took part in the writing exercise a week earlier were present at the Awards event.

The event was anchored by Miss Vicky Abangwu (G-Spicey) who took the students through a series of mental exercises as well as a short lecture on the best use of social media for students.

It is of little surprise that the next session would still lay an emphasis on Social Media Education- since the goal of this year’s essay writing contest was to expose the students to the right use of digital technologies.

This session was handled by renowned Journalist Obioma Okezie who from his wealth of experience made it clear to the students in attendance that they could do more than chat while on Social Media.

He pointed out areas that the student could focus on in order to get the best out of the time they spend on Social Media sites such as Facebook.
