Plans to organize the third edition of the Nigeria Innovation Summit are well underway after the announcement of the theme and venue for the 2018 event by its organizers.

The initiative powered by Emerging Media and Advertising, New York and Emerging Media Nigeria has been designed to promote innovations.

The Nigeria Innovation Summit is an annual event that focuses on the need for businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs in the country to embrace innovation and move in the direction of digital transformation.

Emerging technologies and trends, development, research, commercialization and entrepreneurship will be key drivers of Nigeria’s Innovation ecosystem.

The challenges to Open Innovation in Nigeria will also be discussed at the summit with the goal of making the country more competitive in the global economy.

With Africa and Nigeria arguably lagging behind in technological reforms and innovations, the summit would look to spark major developments in West Africa.
